The Durban draw for the 2025 Engen Knockout Challenge took place on Monday, 01 July at the Pavilion Hotel, officially setting the stage for one of South Africa’s top youth football tournaments.

This year, Durban Ladies will look to defend their title, while the boys’ division prepares to crown a new champion.

Former Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper, Brighton Mhlongo, encouraged players to make the most of the opportunity, saying, “This tournament gives you purpose, exposure, and pressure it’s your moment to rise.”

Echoing this, Engen Communications Manager, Gavin Smith, highlighted the importance of the campaign message: “‘It’s Your Moment, Future Diski Legends’ speaks to every player with a dream. This platform is about more than football it’s about hope, confidence, and growth.”
