Cape Town Roses secured a historic fourth consecutive girls’ title, while Cape Town City lifted the boys’ trophy after a dominant 3-1 victory over Eagles Performance Academy, at this weekend’s 2025 Engen Knockout Challenge in Erica Park.
Over three thrilling days, the province’s top U18 boys and U20 girls’ teams showcased raw talent and fierce competition. Roses beat RV United 2-0 to maintain their winning streak, while City redeemed last year’s final loss with a high-tempo performance.
The tournament echoed this year’s theme, “It’s Your Moment, Future Diski Legends,” reinforcing its status as a launchpad for rising stars. Both Cape Town Roses and Cape Town City will represent the province at the Engen Champ of Champs in October.
